We have two computers on which Windows7 Professional 64 is installed on the first, Windows7 Ultimate 64 on the second.

Both computers have VMware Workstation 12 Pro virtual machines installed

1. It is necessary to make sure that virtual machines can see each other in the common network space of the home network (192.168.1.xxx)

1.1 Configuring virtual machine network adapters for auto-bridge mode

1.2 We confirm the invitation to the home network

1.3 Ping both machines to make sure the settings are correct

2. Set up a virtual machine where Siemens software is installed

2.1 Run Nettoplcsim.exe

2.2 Start capturing port 102

2.3 Launch Simatic Manager

2.4 Having opened our project, we go to the Hardware Editor. We set the IP address to the same as that of the virtual machine. The project created a DB1 data block with one variable of type INT

2.5 Set PG / PC Interface set PLCSIM (TCP / IP)

2.6 Run the regular simulator and load the project into it

2.7 In the settings of the NetToPLCsim network speaker, we set two identical addresses equal to the address of our virtual machine

2.8 Click to start the server

3. Set up InTouch

3.1 Install the driver for connecting to Siemens controllers - DASSIDirect.3

3.2 Configure the driver as shown in the figures below

3.4 Set the access name

3.5 Create a tag

3.6 Binding this tag to an animated symbol on the screen form

3.7 Run the project in Runtime mode
