HOME alarm for OWEN
Attended a workshop of the company "OWEN", dedicated to the implementation of the tasks of remote dispatching of electric power facilities based on SCADA "Telemechanika Light" (event protocols). Very interesting practical course, allows you to better understand the capabilities of the product.Among the course participants, I met the owner of a smart home, who independently assembles and programs most of his automation systems on OWEN equipment. This confirms my personal interest in the subject of remote control of smart homes. Telemechanics Lite is a really good way to dispatch any remote object with an acceptable price / quality ratio.
However, this article is about something else. In communication with the owner, I found out that he does not know how the most optimal way to make a security alarm system for your building using OWEN equipment.
I've dealt with this issue before and would like to share it.
It is based on using the capabilities of the 0-2000 Om analog signal of the MB110-8A module. This module has a pretty decent list of possible connections. Works confidently on a large number of objects 24/7 and is quite suitable for these purposes if there are no certification requirements. Thus, it is possible to create a table of values showing which particular combination of window reed switches is in the open state. The function of a guard beam is provided, as diagnostics for a short circuit and an open circuit are provided by installing resistors at the beginning and end of the circuit.
The cost of the presented security kit is approximately 10 thousand rubles (excluding the cost of installation, wires, reed switches, ceiling cabinet). Allows you to create eight separate security beams, each beam has up to four windows or up to eight reed switches. This solution on the MB110-8A module will fit up to about 32 windows/doors.
