Automated process control systems

An automated process control system is a set of technical and software solutions designed to automate equipment control at industrial facilities and building automation facilities.

Automation of technological processes at enterprises aims to increase productivity, reduce labor costs, minimize the risk of failures and the degree of influence of the human factor. In addition, automated control systems facilitate the work of technicians by providing them with convenient tools for controlling equipment in all areas of the corresponding specified operations.

Over the past two decades, engineering thought has opened up access to the automation of not only production, production lines, but also houses.“Smart home” is one of the most demanded areas in the field of automation today. The possibility of remote control of lighting, heating, ventilation and even a kettle attracts more and more people who value their time and comfort.

The modernization of production has traditionally become a priority area of ​​activity, since in general the cycle of operation of the created automation system does not exceed 15 years. The component base is becoming obsolete, the requirements for application software (APP) are being improved, the requirements for dispatching engineering systems (SCADA) are being specified. Taking into account the fact that over a sufficiently long period of operation of the control system there is a possibility of loss of source codes, the modernization of automated systems remains one of the most demanded services of our activity.

Commissioning works of process control systems are the final stage of putting automated control systems into trial operation, therefore, work on the development of automation systems should be planned taking into account the optimization and reduction of labor costs for their implementation. To do this, preliminary checks of the created software are carried out on the simulator, factory tests of the assembled equipment are carried out before being sent to the facility.
