Structural diagram, example and definitions
To describe the network topology of the object, a block diagram is used.
This document is drawn up at the beginning of the automation system design as a visual model of how the individual components of the future system will be combined with each other.
It is most expedient to compose a block diagram not just from geometric shapes, but from graphic images that would display the future appearance of the object. This will improve the perception of the block diagram as a whole and facilitate the work on its further implementation. Different types of networks should be indicated in different colors to avoid confusion in their purpose.
In preparing this document, a number of questions may arise regarding the placement of individual components of the system. The solution of these issues at the design stage will avoid a large number of difficulties in further work.
